Texture Converter for Giants Software is a lightweight and user-friendly tool created for Farming Simulator modders who work with terrain and need to quickly convert textures into the correct format for use in GIANTS Engine.

With an intuitive interface, you can load your texture maps and generate ready-to-use DDS files in just a few clicks. The tool supports:

• Diffuse – base color texture

• Normal – normal map

• Height – height map (📌 must be of type Height, not Displacement!)

• Roughness – roughness map

Additionally, you can:

• Choose your output location

• Provide the path to the TextureTool.exe required for conversion

⚠️ Requirements & Important Notes:

• 🔹 Important! To ensure proper texture conversion, you must use a Height map and not a Displacement map. This is crucial for generating a valid and functional texture set for Giants Editor.

• 🔹 The program requires the Texture Tool provided by GIANTS Software.

• 🔹 After downloading, extract the tool and enter the full path to TextureTool.exe in the corresponding input field.

Hey! 🙂 No worries – my app does not contain a real trojan. The warning shows up because the EXE file is not digitally signed.
To get a valid signature, you need to buy expensive security certificates, which is not always feasible for small developers.

The app was built using PyInstaller – some antivirus programs automatically flag such files as suspicious, even if the code is clean (a so-called false positive).
If you trust me, you can add the app to your antivirus exceptions. Alternatively, feel free to scan it on www.virustotal.com. 😉
